Meeting Russians on Couchsurfing in Yekaterinburg

I can't thank enough to Couchsurfing for being a phenomenal socializing platform through which we can meet like-minded people who made my day unforgettable! I met Roza from Kazakhstan 🇰🇿 and Ivan from Russia 🇷🇺 in Yekaterinburg and he took me to his house and then to a beautiful forest following by a hike at the top of the city. They showed me around the city and we shared jokes as well as some deep conversations about the culture in our countries.

You can meet locals from the city and then explore their town with them. This helps to indulge with different world cultures and educate yourself about alternate travel practices. Travel is not just about seeing some places and clicking a few selfies but an important aspect of travel is meeting people from around the world and learning a lot in a fun and interesting way creating lasting personal memories.

A feature on Couchsurfing known as 'Hangouts' allows you to find and make plans with other members that are nearby your location. Members can join existing hangouts, or create one of their own. You can use Hangouts to find travelers in the town or locals who might be interested in showing you their own city, and more.
